Unlimited Unguided Shore Diving Malta – 12L Cylinder Hire
Our Unlimited Shore Diving package is an unguided (self-guided) cylinder hire package in Malta for experienced divers who want the freedom to plan and dive their own week — no guide, no fixed schedule, just unlimited air and the run of Malta's shore dive sites.
This is our 12-litre version, giving you more air on every dive.
The package includes five days' hire of two 12-litre cylinders per diver, with unlimited air fills, plus lead and belt. It can start on any day except Sunday.
Who is this package for?
It is designed for qualified divers (PADI Advanced Open Water, BSAC Sports Diver or equivalent*) who already know the Maltese dive sites and wish to organise their own diving. We are happy to help you choose the best sites each day based on the wind direction and your preference, and you are welcome to join any of our organised boat dives as an independent diver.
When can we collect air fills?
Divers on our unlimited packages can come in and refill as often as they like during opening hours:
- June to October: Monday to Saturday, 07:30–15:30
- November to May: Monday to Saturday, 08:00–15:00
The dive centre is closed on Sundays, so any tanks needed for a Sunday dive should be collected by 15:00 on the Saturday.
What do I need to book this package?
You will need to be a minimum of two divers (every diver needs a buddy) and have your own transport to reach the dive sites.
Is nitrox available?
Yes — nitrox fills are available at an extra €5 per fill (mix up to 34%). Please note that all our tanks have DIN fitting valves; for INT regulators you will need tank inserts, which we sell for €7 each.
Can I include accommodation?
Yes. This cylinder hire package is also available as a complete holiday package with diver-friendly accommodation, including gear washing and storage facilities.
