PADI Rescue Diver Course Malta - Emergency & Rescue Training

A Rescue Diver is a competent, self-reliant diver who is able to look after others in an emergency. The PADI Rescue Diver course gives you vital training so you are prepared should you ever face a rescue situation, and it is widely regarded as one of the most challenging yet most rewarding courses in the PADI system.

The course takes two and a half days of training. All theory is completed online before your in-water training begins. We run these courses every day except Sunday, so you are welcome to pre-book a start on any day.

Who can enrol?

You need to be at PADI Advanced Open Water level or above, and to hold a current first-aid qualification such as Emergency First Response (or equivalent). You develop the skills and knowledge to carry out diver rescue, including accident prevention, life-saving techniques and emergency management, across six in-water training sessions covering both self-rescue and the rescue of others.

What's included

Instructor, transport to the dive sites, and use of cylinder, air and weights.
